Senior Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner
With over 19 years of experience, Lora Lindquist has built a career around the healing power of touch. A graduate of Brigham Young University (BS, 2002) and the Utah College of Massage Therapy (2006), she specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Lymphatic, Prenatal, and Aromatherapy massage. Her expertise also includes Reiki, Healing Touch.
Lora’s approach is rooted in her belief that “the body tells a story and never lies—if we listen, it will guide us.” She takes pride in finding the root cause of her clients’ concerns, helping them experience lasting relief and transformation.
Outside the spa, Lora enjoys Spartan races, volleyball, fitness, and spending time with her six children. Her mission is simple: to provide the best massage you’ve ever had.

Alesia
Massage Therapist
With over six years of hands-on experience, Alesia Mitchell is dedicated to promoting healing, relaxation, and holistic well-being through the power of therapeutic touch. A graduate of Southeastern College, she is extensively trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Myofascial Release, and holds certifications in Lymphatic Drainage, Post-Operative Care, Medical Cupping, and Bamboo Fusion Massage.
Alesia’s approach is deeply personalized—each session is thoughtfully tailored to address the specific needs of her clients, whether aiding recovery from injury, easing chronic pain, or reducing daily stress. She believes that true wellness comes from honoring the mind-body-spirit connection and creating space for the body’s natural healing abilities.
Clients value her intuitive touch, calming presence, and safe, nurturing environment. Outside of her practice, Alesia enjoys reading, nature, ongoing education, and community wellness events, continually exploring new ways to help others live healthier, more balanced lives.

Brian
Massage Therapist, Registered Dietitian
For over 19 years, Brian has been honing his skills as a massage and bodywork therapist. He specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Table Thai, Lymphatic, Prenatal, and Aromatherapy massage. His expertise also includes nutrition counseling and meal planning. As a Registered Dietitian with a Master's degree from UNC-Greensboro, Brian enjoys creating a holistic approach to nutrition that connects clients to where they are and their health goals.
For Brian, no two massage clients or sessions the same. As we are different today then we were yesterday, so should our approach to circumstances remain fluid.
Outside the spa, Brian enjoys time outdoors with friends and spending time with his family playing games, sports, and adventures.

With over six years at Palestra, Natia is passionate about beauty and skincare. She is determined to be the best in her profession with an emphasis on the guest experience and self-care routine. Natia's favorite facials- The European and Hydrating Intensive Treatments!

As a 35-year Spa Industry vet, Lisa's passion grows stronger each year. Lisa has a background in Ayurvedic principles and techniques, and extensive training in western esthetic practices and cosmetic chemistry. A Deluxe Facial with Lisa is truly divine!

Hablo Español! Jephannie is a dedicated esthtician at Palestra Boutique Spa for over two years. With a passion for providing exceptional customer service, she strives to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for all our guests. Jephannie has a strong knowledge of various spa treatments and techniques, allowing her to personalize each experience to meet the unique needs of our clients. She takes pride in her attention to detail and ability to create a soothing and rejuvenating atmosphere. Arely found her love for esthetics in the early years of high school and it has flourished in her time at Palestra! She loves making others feel amazing and comfortable in their own skin. She enjoys working with clients to produce amazing results while melting their stress away. Massage Therapist
Angeline Chambers is a veteran massage therapist of 19 years. A well rounded practitioner who is as comfortable in a deep tissue session as a relaxing body treatment. At Palestra, she offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Lymphatic, Prenatal, Aromatherapy. Her Rapid Neurofacial Release Therapy technique aids in pain relief and muscular relief and can be experienced by booking a BodyWork massage with her.
Carrie
Massage Therapist
Carrie brings more than 15 years of experience to her work as a massage therapist and healing practitioner. Carrie specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, lymphatic, aromatherapy, Thai, and sleep massage. Her advanced training includes certification from the Monterey Institute of Touch as well as advanced study at the International Thai Massage School in Chiang Mai, where she completed a 170-hour Thai massage program.
She loves using her energy to help clients restore vitality, relieve stress, and reconnect with their own healing energy. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that all energy is connected and that massage can be a powerful reminder of how to relax and realign.
Beyond her practice, Carrie enjoys yoga, strength training, swimming, dancing, and caring for animals, especially dogs. She also finds joy in reading and embracing wellness in all aspects of life.
Iban
Massage Therapist
Iban is a highly experienced massage therapist with a decade of practice, trained and certified at the Southeastern Institute. His specialties include Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, lymphatic work, and aromatherapy techniques, which he skillfully integrates to meet the needs of each client. He has advanced experience in the areas of lymphatic massage and structural integration which can be booked as TherapeuticBodywork.
For Iban, massage is more than a practice—it is a lifelong journey of refinement and self-discovery. He views wellness as a process of never giving up, moving forward, and striving toward one’s best self. Iban finds deep fulfillment in the “afterglow” of his sessions, when clients feel renewed, balanced, and relieved of stress and tension. He believes a healer’s role is not to fix but to help others uncover their own innate capacity for healing.
Outside of his practice, Iban recharges through soccer, weightlifting, and connecting with friends, keeping energy, health, and balance at the center of his life.

Logan has been practicing massage therapy for seven years, bringing a compassionate, holistic approach to her clients’ healing journeys. A graduate of the Southeastern Institute, Logan is trained in Swedish,, prenatal, lymphatic, and aromatherapy massage.
Logan is passionate about offering alternatives to medications and surgeries, encouraging clients to embrace gentler, holistic paths toward wellness. For her, the greatest fulfillment comes from seeing clients walk in with pain and leave feeling renewed, balanced, and at peace. She believes massage therapy can profoundly improve both mental and physical health, as it did for her personally.

Massage Therapist
Priscilla is a highly experienced massage therapist with 25 years of practice, trained and certified at the Vital Living School of Holistic Health & Wellness in Fort Wayne, IN. She specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and aromatherapy techniques. She also has advanced experience in PNF, MFR, Esalen, Salt stone, hot stone, and bamboo.
She enjoys seeing the impact she has on her clients; whether that be pain relief or just relaxation and calming. She finds joy when she feels a client’s tissues melt and muscles relax under her hands. She loves seeing the progress a session can make for her client.
When not at the spa Priscilla enjoys spending time with her animals, making jewelry, painting, travel, reading, gardening, making baskets and Motorsports!
Valorie
Massage Therapist
Valorie was first introduced to massage therapy while seeking relief from severe neck spasms after a serious car accident. After only one session, she knew that she wanted to learn those skills to help others who were living with the same anxiety and discomfort.
This journey lead to exploring clinical bodywork and structural integration, learning how to work the body's deeper connective tissue and how to improve the mobility of joints and ligaments. Along with Therapeutic BodyWork, Valorie is experienced in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Sports Massage techniques
She take great care to use pressure at my clients' comfort level, while drawing from my knowledge of functional anatomy to educate them on movement/postural patterns, to provide relief that lasts long after they leave the treatment room.

Mariia is a massage therapist with 14 years of experience, trained at the Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She brings a compassionate, holistic approach to her practice, combining Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and lymphatic massage.
Mariia’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that true wellness is a balance of mind, body, and spirit, and she views massage as more than muscle relief — it’s a way of supporting clients through stress, injury, and life transitions. She loves witnessing the shift in her clients after a session, when they feel lighter, calmer, and more at peace in their bodies.
Outside of work, Mariia finds renewal in nature, yoga, and time with loved ones, grounding herself so she can bring presence and balance into every session.
Michelle
Massage Therapist
Michelle is a massage therapist with 13 years of experience, certified through the Southeastern Institute of Charlotte. Her specialties include deep tissue, lymphatic, and prenatal massage.
Her practice is rooted in personal experience — she discovered massage therapy in 2011 while seeking relief from her own chronic neck pain. The healing benefits she experienced inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others live healthier, happier lives through regular bodywork. Michelle finds fulfillment in seeing clients leave each session with greater mobility, relief from pain, and a sense of deep relaxation she fondly describes as a “massage high.” She believes massage restores not only the body but also the mind, lifting mood and helping people return to joy.
Outside of her practice, Michelle is a lifelong animal lover, with a past career as a veterinary technician, and she enjoys developing her skills in art.

Killian
Massage Therapist
Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Killian Simpson is a graduate of the North Carolina Advanced School of Bodywork (2023). With a deep respect and fascination for the human body, Killian began her career at a sports clinic, where she developed skills to help lifestyle athletes train, recover, and prevent injuries. She also worked with trauma survivors recovering from serious accidents, providing care that supports both physical and emotional healing.
Specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Table Thai, Lymphatic, and Prenatal massage, Killian focuses on soothing the nervous system and releasing stress held within the body. Her goal is to create a safe, serene environment where clients can truly let go.
Outside the spa, Killian enjoys HIIT workouts, sketching, painting, competitive gaming, and caring for animals. She believes every client deserves to be valued as an individual and strives to make each session a personalized, restorative experience.
